Volunteer Opportunities
What can I do as a volunteer?

Chandler Regional Hospital's volunteers work both in the hospital and serve the community.  Our volunteers assist staff in providing extra services to our patients.  Services include:

Hospital Volunteers:

  • Assist staff and patients on all nursing floors
  • Act as a liaison between families and staff in the surgery waiting room
  • Greet and assist visitors and patients at the Information Desks
  • Transport visitors to and from the parking lots
  • Deliver supplies from the pharmacy to the nursing stations
  • Provide clerical support to various departments
  • Assist in the Gift Shop

Community Volunteers:

  • Help families in need during the holidays with gifts and food
  • Supply clothing and household items for migrant workers
  • Conduct a "Sibling Class" for children anticipating a new baby brother or sister
  • Provide holiday stockings for new babies, knit baby caps, sew animals for children treated in the ER

The rewards of volunteering are countless.  We welcome the opportunity to visit with you about the volunteer opportunities at Chandler Regional Hospital.  Please contact the director of Volunteer Services by calling (480) 821-3308 for further information.
