Peg Smith, R.N., M.B.A.

Peg Smith, R.N., M.B.A., is the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Chandler Regional Medical Center, a Dignity Health Member, located in Chandler, Ariz. In this capacity, Peg is responsible for planning and developing all nursing operations with a collaborative, patient care centered focus.

Prior to joining Dignity Health, Peg spent 14 years at Wilcox Memorial Hospital in Lihui, Hawaii, where she served in leadership roles. She earned her diploma in Nursing from St. Elizabeth Hospital School of Nursing in Youngstown, Ohio. Peg received her bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix, and her master’s degree in Business Administration from American Intercontinental University in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

She is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives and the Arizona Nurses Association.
