Mark A. Kem, M.B.A., is Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Dignity Health's East Valley market in Arizona. He has also served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for the East Valley Regional Health System in Chandler, Arizona, and President and Chief Executive Officer of Spectra Health Systems where he was responsible for the development of network strategies and "at-risk" fiscal management. Mark has held two different positions at Chandler Regional Medical Center, including Vice President of Managed Care and as Financial Controller.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting from Baker University, where he was on a baseball and academic scholarship. Mark is also a graduate of Arizona State University's Executive Master of Business Administration program.
Mark has served on the board of directors for the Arizona Healthcare Alliance Managed Care Operations and the Arizona Hospital Association Council on Government Relations. He was a member of the Arizona Hospital Federation Integration Task Force and Managed Care Committee, and currently serves as a member of the Mercy Care Health Plan Finance Committee.
