Going Home or Hospital Admission

Inpatient Surgery

If you are admitted to the hospital after surgery, your PACU nurse will escort you to your room and transfer your care to your surgical nurse. Your family will be advised of your room assignment as it becomes available so they may go to your room to wait for you after speaking with your surgeon. When the hospital is especially full, a room may not be readily available. We will do our best to reunite you with your family and friends in a timely manner.

Our ultimate goal is to provide safe care and make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Please let us know what we can do to assist you in any way.

We recognize your loved ones are an important part of your healing, and encourage them to visit and stay with you according to your desires and comfort.
