Cardiovascular Research

Our cardiovascular research program includes a variety of clinical trials that will explore many options for patients with heart disease. Chandler Regional Medical Center and Mercy Gilbert Medical Center are two of 33 hospitals within the CHW system to be involved in medical research. The Cardiovascular Research Center is currently developing programs for angiogenesis, myogenesis, gene expression for personalized medicine, the monitoring of progression/regression of atherosclerosis, and the percutaneous treatment of structural heart disease.
