The Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) specializes in cardiovascular surgeries, primarily coronary artery bypass, or open heart, surgery. The CVICU cares for patients who have cardiovascular medical and emotional needs in a warm, supportive environment. Our nurses are specially trained and are part of a multidisciplinary team designed to meet the needs of our patients and their families, and also specialize in best practices to provide the most positive patient experience.
Visiting hours are open from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Your nurse will work with you and your family to allow visiting around patient care needs. We suggest only two visitors at a time in the room. Limitations may exist for children under the age of 14. We suggest you check with your loved one's nurse for special considerations.
