The Family Birth Center has undergone several improvement projects to better serve our community.
- Spacious new rooms dedicated to labor, delivery, recovery and your postpartum stay
- New, secure postpartum area with large, modern rooms
- Twelve new private neonatal intensive care rooms with overnight accommodations for one caregiver and a private restroom/shower - Coming in Winter 2012
- A special care nursery with 16 beds for babies requiring individualized care
- A dedicated antepartum unit for patients in need of hospitalization and monitoring during their pregnancy

Vistor Restrictions - Winter 2012
Due to the recent increase in respiratory illnesses in the community, all children 12 years old and under will be screened and must be well. No children will be permitted to visit the special care nursery. Visitors who are ill and have cold or flu symptoms – a fever, cough, sneezing or running nose will not be permitted to visit. For the safety of our patients, visitors and staff, this screening process will be in effect until late spring 2012.
