Critical Care Medicine
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Chandler Regional Medical Center is a 12 bed, multidisciplinary adult critical care unit. The unit cares for patients with any potentially life-threatening medical, surgical or cardiac condition requiring continuous monitoring, increased nursing care hours, or a more intensive nurse-to-patient ratio.
An interdisciplinary approach to patient care is provided by a team of registered nurses, patient care technicians, unit secretaries, monitor technicians, hospitalists, intensivists and other allied healthcare providers specializing in critical care.
Visiting hours for the ICU are open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and from 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. During patient care rounds from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., visitors must stay inside the patient's room or wait until rounding has concluded.
For your loved one's comfort, we suggest only two visitors at a time in the room. Limitations may exist for children under the age of 14. We suggest you check with your loved one's nurse for special considerations.
