Executive Screening Program

Our primary goal is to identify your at-risk employees before they have symptoms of heart disease or a cardiac event. Employees with multiple risk factors, such as high blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as those who use tobacco products, are costly to employers. In 2003, the Centers for Disease Control estimated that heart disease and stroke cost the United States $351 billion: $142 billion in lost productivity and $209 billion in healthcare expenses.

Additionally:

  •
Heart disease kills more than 500,000 Americans annually, accounting for 20 percent of all deaths.
  • An estimated 875,000 Americans will have heart attack this year. Of those, nearly 50 percent will not survive.
  • Heart disease is the number one killer of women - more than next seven causes of death combined.
  • Calcium scoring is an ideal screening test for heart disease - it's non-invasive, low cost and patient friendly.
