Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer at Chandler Regional Medical Center!

Who Can Volunteer?

Volunteers come from all walks of life and consist of people who want to make a difference, give back, form new friendships, or those wanting to obtain beneficial work experience. Minimum age is 14 years old.

Time Commitment?

Most volunteers work four hours each week. Positions are available in the morning, afternoon, evening - seven days a week. We will do our best to work with you to develop a convenient schedule that will meet your needs.

Volunteer Service Areas

Volunteers are needed in almost every area of the hospital. We interview each applicant and discover your interests. Options include but are not limited to:

  • Gift Shop
  • Nursing Floors
  • Information Desk
  • Surgery Waiting Room
  • Emergency Department
  • Clerical Duties
  • Pet Therapy
  • Courtesy Cart
  • Pharmacy

 

How Can I Become a Volunteer?

Adults over the age of 18 may complete an application and return by mail. If you are between the ages of 14 and 18 years old you must complete a “Volunteen” Application Packet. Please call the number below to request a packet.

New volunteers must attend a two-part orientation program and have a one-on-one interview by a staff member. A health screening and background check is also required.
